Safer Streets. Stronger Communities. A Better Future.
I’m Lydia Parchue, and I’m running for State Representative because our community deserves to feel safe, supported, protected and heard again.
Families in our district are facing real challenges rising crime, increasing property taxes, financial shortages, mental health struggles, and too many people are being left behind. It’s time for leadership that takes action and puts people first.
I am running for State Representative to ensure our community is safe, supported, and respected. Our state faces significant challenges, and I am committed to delivering common-sense leadership that puts people first.
My platform focuses on these key priorities:
- Public Safety: I will support law enforcement and invest in crime prevention to ensure every person feels safe in Georgia.
- Education & Well-being: I will advocate for stronger anti-bullying protections for students. I will strive to increase more support for parents and teachers to gain more control over rebellious children. My goal is to expand access to mental health and drug treatment services.
- Housing & Homelessness: I support community-based solutions for homelessness and will fight for affordable housing. For seniors, I propose capping rent increases and scaling rent to be based on an apartment's square footage (e.g., $900 per month for 900 sq. ft of rental space).
- Economic Relief: I will endeavor to ease the financial burden on families and seniors. I will work to reduce property taxes, cut wasteful spending, lower medical costs, and reform HOA practices to prevent exorbitant fines.
I love Georgia and believe in a government that works for its citizens. This campaign is about our collective future. I invite you to join the movement by volunteering, displaying a yard sign, spreading the word or making a donation.
Together, we can restore safety and create opportunity for everyone.
